Marketing Strategy Proposal for a Company Entering a Foreign Market

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem marketingové strategie pro vstup internetového obchodu Alza.cz a.s. na zahraniční, konkrétně polský trh. Návrh je reakcí na dominantní postavení internetového obchodu Alza.cz na českém trhu a snaží se najít cestu k dalšímu rozvoji společnosti. V práci je pomocí analýz vyhodnoceno jak interní, tak i externí prostředí organizace. Finální návrh řešení čerpá především z uvedených analýz, navrhuje kroky které by organizace měla podniknout aby na zahraniční trh úspěšně vstoupila a obsahuje i zjednodušený finanční plán pro první rok působení firmy na trhu.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem mezinárodní marketingové strategie pro anglickou společnost Gourmet Burger Kitchen, která by ráda expandovala na zahraniční trhy. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První část vysvětluje základní marketingové pojmy, určuje prvky marketingové strategie a zabývá se teoretickými poznatky jednotlivých metod a analýz. Poté je pomocí těchto analýz vyhodnocováno jak interní, tak i externí prostředí firmy. Další část diplomové práce se zabývá samotnou společností GBK, jejím vývojem a službami, které zákazníkům poskytuje. V poslední části autor shrnuje analýzu vstupu společnosti na český trh, její cíle a případné strategie.

Master ‘s thesis „Entry of selected company on foreign market” deals with entry of Spielberg Brno Arms s.r.o. (hereinafter referred as Spielberg Brno) to French market. The theoretical part contains the development of the internationalization of companies, includes variants of entering the foreign market and risks arising from international trade. It also characterizes individual economic analyses - PEST analysis, Porter's five forces model, SWOT analysis. The practical part focuses on the company itself, the export article and analyses. The last part of thesis proposes a concrete strategy of entry into the French market based on the analyses mentioned above.

Selection of the most suitable international market for Logio expansion

The master thesis deals with the possibilities of international expansion in case of the Czech company Logio s.r.o that sells consulting services on B2B market. The main objective is to choose a suitable international market for expansion of the company. Futhermore, market analysis and determination of method of market entering are additional objectives of the thesis. The first part deals with the characteristics of the process, which companies should follow during selection of international market, and various forms of entrance. Then, gained findings are used in process of selecting the most suitable international market for expansion of company Logio s.r.o. Selected market is analysed by using Porter model of 5 forces and PESTEL analysis. The variants of international expansion are specified and compared in the end of the thesis and the most suitable method of market entering is chosen with regard to specifics of the company itself.
Italy - the potential market for further foreign expansion of the Storyous company

Restaurants, bars or cafés will always serve as places for social interaction and so they are an essential part of human life. In each country around the world, it is a place for meeting people and communication. The mission of Storyous company is to help its clients to create a pleasant atmosphere in their food service business by providing next generation POS system not only in the Czech Republic but also in Poland. The company has already experience with the electronic sales reporting that brings considerations about another international market for its expansion. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the Italian market, mainly the sector of gastronomy services and qualify and quantify the customer base in Italy. At the same time, the structure of competitors along with a brief sample of them will be introduced. The timing for the Italian market entry, the gross initial costs and the rate of product adaption will be discussed on the basis of PEST analysis and Porter Five strenghts model analysis. In the conclusion author of the thesis recommends further steps for more detailed analysis.

Entry of Czech companies to foreign markets in cooperation with the agency CzechTrade

The topic of the master thesis Entry of Czech companies to foreign markets in cooperation with the agency CzechTrade is the company expansion to foreign markets and possible benefits from the cooperation with the state export-promoting agency CzechTrade. The main objective is the evaluation of conditions on the Mexican market for the entry of Czech companies. The secondary objective is to evaluate the possibilities of cooperation between the Czech firms which are seeking overseas expansion, and CzechTrade. This thesis will focus on the expansion to one specific market (Mexico) and on the activity of one particular Czech company (Kovobel), for the purpose of narrowing the topic and also to better illustrate it on one particular case. The thesis will produce findings and recommendations that would ultimately allow Czech companies to access the overall process before entering the Mexican market.

Practical part focuses on the company and its activities. The thesis defines appropriate export product and foreign market. The variants of international expansion are specified and compared in the end of the thesis. Also, a marketing mix is proposed for the most suitable variant of entry.
Company enters a foreign market

The aim of the diploma thesis was to describe the conditions of entry Holidays Czech Airlines the Icelandic market, specifically the establishing of direct air service from Prague to Keflavik. The thesis is divided into six chapters, which are devoted to both theoretical expectations for companies entering foreign markets, and practical sections. The general reasons which lead a company to expansion and the associated risks are described in the first chapter as well as the macroeconomic analysis of the market, the PESTEL analysis, which I used to analyze the Icelandic market. The second chapter discusses the various forms of entry the foreign markets and compares their advantages and shortcomings. The third chapter was related to the specific cooperation of airlines. The practical part of the thesis introduces companies HCA and IEX, focuses primarily on the evaluation of HCA Company based on the SWOT analysis. The following chapter is devoted to cooperation of mentioned companies. The final chapter evaluates the Icelandic market using the above mentioned PESTEL analysis.
